Our mission is to eradicate human trafficking by empowering survivors, equipping communities, & changing systems.
Our vision is to see a community free of exploitation through the rehabilitation and empowerment of survivors and a community galvanized against human trafficking.
“We know human trafficking is not just an urban problem. Both rural and urban areas of Tennessee have reported cases of sex trafficking.” - Tennessee Bureau of Investigation
Human trafficking is the exploitation of humans for purposes such as sexual and labor servitude where something of value is exchanged (money, food, housing, drugs, etc.) through the means of force, fraud or coercion.
**Force, fraud or coercion does not need to be present for minors under 18**
Empower Survivors
We walk alongside individuals in their journey from victimhood to survivorship. Our Survivor Services Team works with each client to create personalized goals and a plan to reach those goals.
The best kind of rescue is no need for rescue at all. We equip communities to recognize and understand trafficking so they can better fight against it.
We seek justice through systemic change by supporting survivors involved in the legal system and providing data and expertise to Tennessee General Assembly members or other local and state government stakeholders in order to identify and mend gaps in systems or law in connection with victim identification and support as well as stiffer penalties for buyers and traffickers.
